The Ellestads at Pearl Lake

Eric and Tara and the kids came to the lake this weekend to enjoy the 90+ degree weather by the water. We had a blast soaking up the sun and floating the day away.

Landon is a fish and was all about swimming, snorkeling, jetskiing, etc.
Eric took every opportunity to toss him into the lake!

He is also a pro at riding/skiing on this blow up waterski trainer.
I even caught him riding with no hands at one point!
Also, love this look of joy coming in after a speedy ride on the jet ski!

The fun continued after 4 with a booze cruise! As always it was filled with good food
(homemade cheese ball created by Eric) dancing and more sunshine!

The kids also took turns driving the boat with Grandpa Jeff.

The true sign of summer - when EVERYONE is floating in the middle of the lake!
If you look closely, Kelly's dog even has her own life jacket and floation raft!

After the booze cruise - the boys went fishing and caught a bunch of fish. Didn't keep anything
- but claimed at dinner that they could have fed us all with what they pulled in.
Here is Eric holding Landon's first catch of the day!

The ladies stayed on shore -- here is Grandma Lindy and Elise hanging out on the back of the boat.

This is one of my favorite pictures from the weekend - it looks like Elise got left behind on the pier, when in reality she was just shouting to them to BRING BACK THE LICORICE!
We did end up making a trade - the red ropes for a couple of beers and a diet squirt for Landon!

Here's hoping this hot weather continues - as long as we can be up at the lake!
