Kurek's Hideaway

The Ellestad family rented a friends cottage on White Sand Lake near Minocqua, WI this past week. The guys go to this cabin annually for fishing, but this was the first time the ladies and kids got to go too! We had a great time swimming, fishing, napping and relaxing.

The boys found a "honey hole" and caught a ton of fish. Landon was very proud that he helped catch dinner for the family.

Elise and I were buddies - she is a big fan of my belly! Most commonly heard question? "that your baby in there?" I repeatedly asked her if it was a boy or a girl... She would always respond "boy" but referenced it as a "she" whenever she talked about it :)

It was a great week - Patrick and I were not able to stay the whole time but still enjoyed the getaway. We are all already looking forward to planning the trip next summer, fully equipped with a pack n play, water wings and everything else that baby wants :)
