And the birthday continues...

Last weekend we went up to the lake to take out the pier, celebrate James' birthday with the Rubles and go to an African party that my aunt and uncle were hosting.
It was a fun weekend with lots of stuff!

Here we are singing to James - the Swenson family is a little tone deaf,
but I don't think he was actually plugging his ears!

Jojo and Karen with the birthday glasses.

No luck on this candle either - though he was blowing air at other times over the weekend.

Silly Jojo!

The group singing :)

Buppa and Thomas

The big boys were helping James open his present!

More rides in the truck.
James seemed to really like going for rides in the back.

One time we put him in next to Jojo.
He stood and held the wheel while Jojo drove.
James thought that was fantastic - Jojo on the other hand wanted him OUT!

Aunt Lisa and Jimmy James

Big boy watching the trains!
Check out his cool red shoes!

Three monkeys playing with the trains.

Matching warm up suits!

I mentioned the Africa party above --- Uncle Fred and Auntie Diane have been over to Africa twice in the last year. They had a party to share their photos and stories.

Here is a family photo with a Zebra - we learned that night that the locals call it a "Zeb - ra"
Who knew!
