The Palette King!

Over the past year Patrick has been creating wonderful things in our home using palettes. The latest one was the brainchild of both Patrick and Andy Knapp and I just had to share how it turned out!

Patrick planned to cover one of the walls in our first floor bathroom with palette boards.
Andy is working on a similar project in their office with a chalkboard wall painted on a connecting wall - should be awesome!

Patrick measured out the wall on the floor of the garage and started staining and cutting.
(Thanks to Dad/Olympus for the palettes!)

The next step was placing them in the bathroom.
Bye-bye flat circles - you were fun - but we are moving on from you!

Finished product!
I love it --- very rustic but chic at the same time!
Wait til you see it in person :)

And here are some other projects he has completed.

We have been looking for a skinny table for our family room --- and just couldn't find something thin enough to still allow for walking space... So Patrick made one!
I love the two-tone and the best part --- it is screwed into the wall - Hurricane Jimmy-proof!

These are full palettes in place of floating shelves.
Patrick stained and weathered them.

And of course our homemade baby gate.
Very sturdy and way easier than those pressure ones that just make people
(and by people, I mean me!) crabby :)

Next on the project list - a shelving unit/ kitchen island!
So excited to see what he comes up with :)
