More weekend photos

Mom and Dad took James up north on Friday after the parade - the hope was that they could all have a fun weekend while we had the baby --- only problem... still no baby! 

They did send some photos from their adventures though - definitely a fun weekend!

We kicked off the weekend with dinner at Stalzy's on Atwood & yummy Reuben sandwiches! 

Dad's was a double decker :) 

James did a great job with his dinner too - though again eating the sandwich layer by layer! 

Always lots of yummy food at the cottage - this kid loves corn! 

 

And apparently now eats strawberries as well - the key was to give them to him whole! 

 

This photo came with a "good morning" message - clearly he wasn't missing us - couldn't even be bothered to look away from the TV! 

 

Entertainment at their Friday night fish fry! 

 

And James' first ride in the '31. Glad to know the car seat works in the shiny red car. 

 

And meeting Jerome! 

This little Gnome lives at Pearl Lake and often plays hide and seek with the little boys.

Patrick and I got some projects done around the house and did some fun grown up things since we were not at the hospital. 

We celebrated the 4th of July with a BBQ at Andy and Heidi's. 

It seemed silly to drive to the neighbors house - so we used the stroller to carry over our food and beer! Good to know that the storage underneath easily holds two six-packs! 

Saturday we met Jeff and Jenny at the Farmer's market. Patrick and I parked the car and rode the b-cycles in - hoping to induce labor... :(

After a spicy lunch at BW3s we walked to the terrace for the afternoon. 

Everyone got some sunshine, as well as ice cream or beer! 

Sunday morning was spent cleaning, baking and organizing --- thought for sure that "nesting" had to mean something - but still no baby. 

Jenny and I have started checking in each morning to see if the other is in labor yet - these kids seem to be on the same page - lots of activity and false labor at night and then NOTHING. 

Pretty weird actually - they are clearly belly buddies!
