Vacation days with Daddy

Patrick has taken some extra days this summer to spend time with us and enjoy the nice weather.
Last week we went to the Jet Room for breakfast and then enjoyed the nice weather on the deck.

The Jet Room is a great place to have breakfast and watch plans land and take-off at the Dane County airport.
James loved it!

Mickey Mouse pancakes - the breakfast of champions... or possibly future pilots!

James showing off his airplane after breakfast.

Zonked out by 9:15 - still clutching his airplane.

Beautiful day to enjoy the pool - James and Daddy!

Patrick taught James how to kick back and relax, poolside!

This is the face he got when Patrick told James to close his eyes.

Today was a day of firsts for both boys (more to come on Isaac below)
James enjoyed a picnic lunch with his first PB&J sandwich - clean plate club for this kid!

Yummmmm!

Afternoon naps for two boys = cocktails and sunshine for Mommy and Daddy!

Isaac's milestones for today...

Took a nuk for the first time!

First bottle!
We went for an early dinner at Tex Tubbs and didn't get a chance to feed Isaac before leaving (he was sleeping hard!)
We actually had a great dinner - James was so good and ate well, Isaac slept the whole time and we were in and out in 45 minutes!
We chanced it and stopped at Menards on the way home - of course he woke up in the back of the store, so we tried the bottle in the parking lot --- success!

Nice to have some other options to help soothe him :)
