So the summer is quickly disappearing and we are doing our best to enjoy time at the cottage - even if the trip is shorter than we would like.
Patrick and Andy had commitments that would have forced a VERY short trip for the kids - so Heidi and I decided to take the 4 kids by ourselves and have the guys meet us when they could.
Mom and Dad were of course up there waiting for us and ready and willing to help - but the 1.5 hour car ride was going to be the challenging part!
Isaac is still a beast, though better if he is occupied with one specific movie (which is only 30 minutes, so it needs to be on continuous play!).
The guys got the four seats in the car and we packed as light as possible....
Four kids under 3 - love that we can tag team these kiddos - but also super happy that they are from two sets of parents!
James found a good spot for his feet!
The boys were initially quite entertained sitting all the way in
the back - but that excitement wore off and the DVD player came out.
DVD player = magic!!!!
Overall the ride wasn't too bad --- two mommies definitely helped --- handing out snacks, replacing nuks, etc.
Super thankful that the weekend was so beautiful --- if was definitely worth the tears in the car!
