Anna is 7 months

Anna didn't have her 6 month doctor visit until almost 7 months -- so her stats are 7 months stats instead! Our little smooch is 16.7lbs and 26inches tall.
She is definitely our peanut --- for perspective, Isaac was nearly 16 lbs at TWO months!

Anna is rolling all over and LOVES her feet!

She is small but feisty and still such a happy girl!

I am pretty sure her blue eyes are here to stay - still unsure on what color her hair is - maybe light brown, maybe reddish. Still no teeth - but that is not stopping her from eating everything we offer!

She is sleeping great and most nights for 11+ hours... this night, she must have known I was working on cleaning out toys to sell cause she wasn't ready to go down...
So she "helped"!

She got her hands on a toy that was on its way out the door --- and of course we had to keep it when I saw she was enjoying it :)
Don't think it will always be that way little miss!

Enjoying some more time at the park watching the guys!

A cute photo from daycare!

Introducing Anna to spring

Another one of my favorite firsts with the kids is the first time in the swing.
Anna did not disappoint!

The boys like to play "catch" with Anna!

One of my all time favorite pictures --- the joy in both of their faces!

I think this girl will be spending a lot of time on the swings this summer while her brothers run all over the park!

And when on the days it is still a little chilly and/or I am making dinner --- Anna can watch the boys play from the front door! With the sun setting after work --- she needs her shades to see!

How cute is she?!?

First run with Daddy!
Again bundled to the max - but both of them enjoyed getting out!

St. Patrick's Day Parade

We got to once again be a part of the St. Patrick's Day Parade around the square.
The weather was lovely and we had a blast being extra Irish and tossing candy to the crowd.

Family photo before the parade.

Look at these two cheeseballs!

Lots of cousins ready to toss candy to the crowds.

I wore Anna for the parade and she was happy to watch and smile!

The kids did a great job of spacing out the candy --- last year we ran out after about 1/4 of the route --- this year we almost made it to the end!

The group met up at LJ's after and we all peeled off some layers!

Anna was happy in her onesie watching the kids and hanging with Grandma!
Such a fun day every year --- so happy to spend it with family :)

Anna at 6 months

Time needs to slow down -- Anna is growing up so fast!

She is now an expert sitter and smiles and laughs all the time!

We set up this cute tent on loan from the neighbors and you can tell she loves the colors and toys around her.

What is better than a baby in bibs on a tiny rocking chair?!?

And we have begun the world of food!
She loves avocado and banana in her meshy bag thingy and will happily eat baby food and cereal.
She makes silly noises almost the entire time she is eating --- she is clearly enjoying it!

Pond skim

So this was another highlight from our time at Nordic Mountain.
When we arrived, we heard about a Pond Skim --- basically the opportunity to "ski" or "skim" across open water at the bottom of the hill.
Patrick was excited to try it before we left.
The boys and I waited at the bottom to watch, cheer and film!

In the beginning many folks were making it across - but by the time Patrick rode the chairlift up, it was windier and most people didn't have the speed...
My last words to Patrick were, "just go as fast as you possibly can...!"

Enjoy!

Winter Fun at the Cottage

The weather and the calendar cooperated for one more snowy weekend at the lake!
Anna got some time with Grammy and Buppa and Patrick and I were both able to ski with the boys at Nordic Mountain!

These two rocked the bunny hill, the magic carpet and even took some turns on the rope tow...
Next up - the chair lift!

Top of the hill selfie!

The boys were pretty excited after going down the big hills --- Greens only at this point, but they rocked the "Gentle Giant" :)

Still plenty of snow to play outside ---
James found an icicle that looked like an ax.

We took turns running Anna up and down the road in the sled.
She is a speedster already!

Me and the kids :)

Polar Vortex and other winter fun

We had some crazy weather this winter --- 6 snow/ ice/ or cold days in probably as many weeks.
It was pretty nuts! Patrick and I took turns working from home to keep the kids entertained and unfrozen :) It was great to have so much snow but when it is too cold to be outside - it isn't as fun.

Once and a while there was some ipad time --- if there was sharing :)

This little lady enjoyed being entertained by her guys - and is loving her freedom to jump!

There is a rekindled love of PJ Masks in our house right now --- and these pictures are my favorite from all of the snow days.

So proud that they have a complete crime fighting team!

Anna is happy to wear the mask - I think she realizes the boys like that she keeps it on.

We had some great games during Anna's nap time - including Life and Monopoly.

We also built with marshmallows and toothpicks

We did get some time outside --- spent a morning at Beckett's house -
Chad took the boys outside for some sledding.

Such a cute picture!

James was excited that dress like your favorite book character day was NOT a snow day. Jimmy and Miss Doll both dressed like Pete the Cat!

We also spent a weekend up north at the cottage and Patrick took the boys on a snowmobile ride to the Trading Post.

A selfie to let us know they were having fun :)

These guys ordered the biggest pretzel in the world and saved us a great table.
Anna and I showed up in the truck a little while later.

I was happy to have a bloody mary with all of the fixin's - and it appears that Anna was very interested in my chaser!

Family photo!

Quote of the weekend - Jimmy, " Oh no! - we should have made plans to come here tomorrow instead!" - haha! I love that he can read :)

And amidst all of the snow - we managed to have our annual Port night with the Hebels.
It has been an eventful but great winter!

Deer Valley

The guys were up north on their annual snowmobile trip so we headed to Deer Valley with the moms and kids. Never a lot of photos from the water park - but the kids had a blast!

These kids are all fish - biggest concern in always making sure they realize they are not wearing their life jackets like they normally are!
With 4 adults - we were able to take turns in the water and watching Anna.

I took Anna up early to get her down for a nap --- she crashed in her plush car seat pretty fast!

Then we slid her under the sink with the sound machine when the kids came back :)

We packed movies and snacks and wine and played in the hotel rooms in-between swims.
The girls love Anna as much as the guys do --- :)

I forgot Anna's tent - so we made a little next bed on the floor.
The big excitement for the weekend was the fire alarm that sent us to the lobby for nearly 45 minutes at 3am. It was one of those Polar Vortex kind of weekends so we were grateful it wasn't a real fire and that we were able to stay inside.

Grammy and Mee-maw enjoyed some Anna time while the moms went swimming :)

It was a fun weekend!
