We are continuing to find fun and safe ways to do the things we love during COVID.
Best way to enjoy Devil's Lake? Go on a rainy Monday!
Claire and Jack came with us and about 15 minutes into our hike - the rain started... thankfully it was warm out - so the rain really didn't bother us too much! Waterfalls on both sides of the stairs!
These kids did awesome! pretty tough terrain - but no complaints, only smiles!
After lunch the rain stopped and we dried out on the second half of the hike.
The sun even popped out for a few minutes while the kids swam!
The boys and I did a lot of bike riding - looking for new parks in McFarland to explore.

After a few weeks of virtual learning both boys got to go back to school part time!
They were pretty excited (even with the self inflicted shiner James got the night before).

Patrick got some quality time on the water this summer too - friends that enjoy skiing at dawn - no boat traffic = water like glass!

The guys are really being creative with building legos too - lots of imagination!
There are definitely days when we all need space - but its moments like this that I know I will miss when we come out of COVID --- they really just want to be as close as possible!
And my awesome neighbors --- constantly helping each other and building each other up - so grateful for others to remind me that, "it's fine, I'm fine, everything is fine!"
