First Triathlon

The boys competed in their fist triathlon this summer and they thought it was awesome!
Tri 4 Schools provides 4 distances/ age groups. They do an incredible job of making it safe, fun and authentic for the participants - plus the kids can earn money for their school!

First stop body marking.

Ready for the swim!

This kid is confident and ready to go - no noodle required!

This kid is so pumped he is dancing in line!

Coming in on the bike!

Knapps and Ellestads post race!

Proud parents and kids!

See you in August Tri 4 Schools!

Titletown

On the way home from Door County we stopped in Green Bay to see Lambeau Field. It was father's day but the weather wasn't great so the crowds were light and we had a blast!

Larger than life Lombardi Trophy.

The escalator into the largest Packer fan store we have ever seen with some pretty fantastic pictures on the walls all the way down.

Patrick and the guys in the pro shop - full stadium picture as the wallpaper!

We enjoyed some curds and drinks in the 1919 restaurant .
My bloody Mary came with TONS of veggies!
The waiter thought this request meant I was a vegetarian and left out the beef jerky...

Anna was pleased when he returned with it!

Football themed playground - so cool!

Everyone needed a drink before heading home :)

Door County Ed Jones style

The summer regional was in Door County this year and we were pumped to spend some time up there with the kids!

The kids LOVE Ed Jones weekend --- kids everywhere and endless yummy food with minimal rules.

After a dinner of kid favorites a staff member came out with a HUGE box of smores stuff ---
James MIGHT have had more than 11 mallows - which didn't stay inside very long - but again - fun was had by all!

It was flannel night - so this cutie got dressed up too!

Friday was rainy - but it didn't stop us! Al Johnston's for lunch and afternoon cocktails in the beer garden in Sister Bay.

Grandma and Grandpa joined us for the weekend to hang out and help with the kids - so fun to have extra time with them and exploring Door County together!

Grateful for the indoor pool --- Daddies and kids everywhere!

The rain broke just in time for the largest silly string fight we have ever seen!

The view from our hotel room was lovely - tried to get a photo of these three :)

Saturday was beautiful so the ladies started our day with a trip into town to buy coffee and gifts!

Then we met up with the guys and went to a new brewery in Egg Harbor.
Wild Tomato pizza and beer - hooray!

Grandma and Grandpa got an awesome family photo for us!

Egg Harbor had an art exhibit like the Bucky's - but Eggs --- we found 26 of them in one afternoon!
The boys loved this space themed one best.

Next stop Bailey's Harbor for more sightseeing and ice cream!

No trip to Door County is complete without a trip to the Cookery for breakfast!
Grandma taught Anna how to play the spoons while we waited for our food!

The boys were so good all weekend and did an awesome job entertaining themselves and sharing activity books.  Patrick took them to get some candy but they chose mini Ironman and Spiderman stuffies instead... instant favorite!

Father's Day photo!
Thanks for a wonderful weekend Edward Jones and Grandma and Grandpa

Last Day of Kindergarten

Its hard to believe that James is already finished with kindergarten - but he had a great year and learned a ton!

This kid is pumped for summer - but also sad to see the year end.
Thankful so many friends are at CLM for the summer, he wasn't quite sure what to do with himself that first monday and still sleeps with his yearbook and class photo in his bunk bed!

Last day of school photo with Ms. Doll.

We picked up Isaac and Daddy and went to the Union for lunch and ice cream!

Babcock selfie!

This kid and his ice cream... chocolate goatee... every time!

This kid eats his ice cream much cleaner, but still managed to need to go in the lake to "clean off" and then slipped and fell in!

We finished the day riding bikes by the zoo - practicing our braking and hills!
Let summer begin - we are ready!
