Week Two

Week Two started with Anna trying to escape her crib --- seems to be a trend here ---
 Anna Mac, the Maniac!

We dropped her mattress on the floor and let her sleep there for the night until we could take the front off the crib. She managed to destroy her room with her new found freedom!

Happy to be with Daddy as much as possible - he is her favorite bedtime buddy too!

Springtime fashion by Anna!

The boys now spend time talking with their friends on the computer - coloring or building iron beads "together"

Our 'Porch rait" courtesy of John Maniaci - safely taken from the road.

Helping Momma with some food deliveries - happy to be out for a change - we played travel bingo and saw the longest train - Isaac said, "its our lucky day Momma!"

Anna is loving her babies - we pulled out some of the baby gear from the Stelse Family - she loves it! "Bebe!"

One of the best activities to entertain Anna is the shoes, coats and outside gear at the front door.
She is very good at putting it all on herself - doesn't matter who's it is.. she doesn't care and is just hopeful if she puts enough on, someone will take her outside.

This is the start of "distance learning" - really impressed with what we have gotten so far.
Way to go McFarland!

Still love any opportunity to wrestle with Daddy.
We have done a few workouts as a family including HIIT and TYBO.

Water Beads and a "Cheese" face.

The boys sorted all of the water beads by color --- its like they are my own flesh and blood ... :)

We moved all of the furniture out of the sunroom so we could put the bounce house in there.
Snuggle time with Daddy on the arm chair in the kitchen.  Quickly realizing anything goes, which is very liberating - but also scary given we aren't even through week 2.

Did some exploring at a new park by Siggelkow Rd.
Playgrounds are now closed, so new nature places to explore are awesome!

Signs of spring!

Accidental picture of the almost completed bathroom - more to catch this little miss "washing".
She loves playing in water almost as much as going outside.
As we are all trying to wash our hands more, she is very cute and asks for soap and knows exactly what to do.

We are all trying to spread joy as many folks are taking daily walks.
This sweet girl is our neighbor --- love her and the message!

Tried a new way to play in the water -- water table in the basement!

And we rounded out week 2 with a Pearl Lake zoom call.
Patrick and I came to play!

March got weird

So turned out we planned our quick getaway to Arizona at the perfect time as things got wonky in March.  COVID19 became a household term around March 10th - and while we didn't know it at the time, Friday the 13th of March was essentially the first day of summer vacation...

We have been doing our best to stay healthy, safe and sane and trying to mix in some fun along the way.  So here is week 1:

Working to update our bathroom!

Celebrated Pi Day with pie from Bloom!

Getting outside as much as possible - we know its only March - but we gotta get our energy out.
Boots, hats, winter coats --- it works.

Irish coffees by the fire --- yumm!

Selfies most days!

Art projects

Check out this cute confident chica!

First bike ride of the season - Anna liked it a lot more than it looks here.
I would have taken another photo at the end, but the boys were both melting down at that point!

The Conlons joined us for St. Patty's day dinner - at this point we were still operating under - keep your get togethers small - and they are in the middle of a kitchen remodel - so we needed to feed them a traditional Irish meal in our kitchen :)
Elbows in!

Facetiming with the family!

And if you didn't answer, this is the picture you got sent!

Keep forgetting it is still technically winter --- SNOW!

Helped deliver Chocolate Milk to a food pantry - kids were pumped to get out AND even got to keep a carton or two,

This girl thought she won the lottery!
YUMMMM!

This is our wine night now --- words and apps like Google Duo and Zoom are now mainstream.

Kid exercise with cans of tomatoes and chicken broth!

Monster Fort!

Cute girl!

Quick order of this trike stroller - Anna is not a fan of the stroller and escapes like Houdini - figured we can't survive this if we can't go for walks. So thought this was a good option.
Turns out - best $ we ever spent!

Hard to believe that was all in one week ---!

Spring Training

We spent the end of February in sunny and warm Arizona - a quick trip to cross Brewers Spring Training off the bucket list.

We were fortunate enough to have a lovely place to stay and woke up  poolside every day!

This was the first time any of us had been to Spring Training and we were thrilled to be there!

The new stadium is awesome!

As much as the trip was a bucket list item, buying a beer from this guy was the true (check) on the list!  Uncle Jeff has been spending his retirement free lancing as a beer vendor and loving the AZ life.

Knowing a top beer guy has its perks too --- check out these great seats!

And we had fun cruising around town in this sweet ride.
yep - we had lots of fun!

Jeff and Sue came over for dinner and the Badger game.

Day two was a little more crowded - Dodgers were in town! It is really a wonderful stadium and it is small enough that you feel connected no matter the seats - but lines for food were long, so we opted to drink our lunch :)

A quick swim between the game and a night on the town!

Finished with a delicious meal and a toast to future trips with more loved ones!

Badger Game!

After a fun day with Isaac - Jimmy and I got to have a special day at the Badger Game!
It was a snowy Sunday - but we made it downtown and to the Kohl Center with no issues.

It was fun to walk through the storm in our boots -- huge drifts and snowflakes.

We were lucky enough to use the Damon family seats and had a terrific view!

Special day with this big kid!

Ice cream!

We even took some silly photos during half time.
Badgers WIN!
