Ellestad Christmas

Our Christmas vacation began in Fond du Lac on the 23rd and we had a blast! The kids are getting closer to the age where they will go and play together and the adults can enjoy some "quiet time" with other adults in the kitchen - aka standing around a table of food and beverages and catching up!

The glass jar of corks is a favorite toy of Isaac's --- clearly he has taught the other kids how fun they are too. Elise and I played a game of "let's see if we can keep more corks in the container than the babies are able to throw out of the container" frantically rounding them up as the toddlers tossed them across the room. I like to think we eventually won, but I think the babies just got bored!

Leo took it upon himself to empty the entire jar all at once. It is heavy and it was hilarious to watch - but he did not give up!

Cousin picture - this is always such torture since they know that presents are next!

Jack got to hand out the first gift --- such a decision!

Isaac enjoys crawling on all of the uncles --- we were happy to share the Ikey love!

Allie carrying her rainbow gift set from us.
She is so stinkin' cute!

Playing farm on the floor

Family photo fail!
It was just to hilarious not to post!

Ikey love for the momma!

I love it when the kids are more excited to give their presents than get them :)

Jimmy was pumped this big package was for him... his very own sleeping bag!

What do you do on a Christmas without snow?!?
Tractor rides in the back yard!

Leo and Isaac playing toys inside while the big kids were outside.

Our kids of course found the "river" in the back yard to be super entertaining.
Isaac was out for about 5 minutes before we dragged him back in the house. He was not pleased!

Between the water and the fire - it was just too much effort to keep him safe.

Brothers around the fire.

Jack on the tractor - always a huge smile!

Christmas dinner --- Italian dinner calls for table cloths on the floor!
