Last Friday Patrick and I had the night to ourselves (Mom and Dad took James to the cottage for the weekend - more on that later!) so we met Andy, Heidi and Macey at the 5100 for a fish fry.
They pulled up right as we were getting out of the car and I burst out laughing when I saw them.

It is one thing to show up in similar blue shirts or something - but to have the SAME ORANGE and BLUE PLAID shirt and not even know it?!?
Quote of the night - from Patrick went something like this... "you know if two girls show up in the same thing they get all mad and someone has to change. But when two guys do - they just become best friends for the night!"
There was a nearby table with two older couples who were clearly regular fish fry people that enjoyed an Old Fashioned or, you know... eight! One of the ladies could not get over their matching shirts as they walked by - very cute and funny to watch!

And here is a quick photo of James at the park - Grammy put him in shorts for the first time this season on Thursday - this kid was in heaven!
